Fifty extra square feet over the King room does not sound like much, but it is the space a second bed needs without the room feeling tight. The operator says these rooms are located throughout the property, which usually means you have a decent chance of a higher or lower floor if you ask early.
How many people fit?
The operator does not publish a maximum occupancy for this category. Two queens commonly sleep four, but we never assume. If your party is four adults, or two adults with three children, write the ages in your request so the hotel can tell us what it allows. The house rules are clear that exceeding the permitted occupancy is not allowed.
A typical family day from this room
You wake up, make coffee in the Keurig and eat the breakfast you brought. By 10 you are at the zoo, which on most dates opens at 10 a.m. outside the high summer. Back for a swim after lunch. Then a quiet hour in the room with the window open while the kids watch something on the TV, and out again for dinner downtown or at the market. It is a simple rhythm and this room supports it well.
Family packing for this room
- Night lights for children who wake in unfamiliar rooms
- A small cooler bag with milk, fruit and cereal
- Two swimsuits each, so there is always a dry one
- A portable white-noise app or speaker
- Slippers or socks for the walk to the pool
The 19+ rule, in this room's terms
Children are welcome to stay. What they cannot do is enter the casino floor or the two eating places on it. The group's family policy adds that children under 16 must have a parent or guardian aged 19 or older actively supervising them in non-gaming spaces, and that a parent who is gambling does not count as supervising. In practice: if one adult wants an hour at the tables, the other adult stays with the kids.
