Who sees it
Our desk sees your request. To check availability and the rate, we share the details needed for that — name, dates, party size and relevant requests — with the hotel's reservations team or with a booking partner that sells rooms at the hotel. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed.
The site is hosted by DigitalOcean on a server in Toronto, Canada, and served through Cloudflare, which processes requests to protect and deliver the site. From the web server, your request is passed to our desk's system, which runs on a server in the United Kingdom, and our desk is alerted to new requests through a messaging app. Information stored or processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of the country where it is held.
How long we keep it
We keep requests only as long as we need them to answer you and, if a stay is booked, to confirm our commission with the hotel or partner. You can ask us to delete yours at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There is no tag manager on the site. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Google Maps
Maps on this site come from Google Maps, which is operated by Google. On the home page, the map loads only after you press the "Show the map" button. On the getting-here page, a map is embedded and loads when you reach that part of the page. When a map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. Links that say "Open in Google Maps" or "Directions" take you to Google's site.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent, which means we stop processing your request and delete your details unless we must keep them by law. Write to us at the address above. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection. Requests are stored with limited access. No method is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information, as the law requires.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, for example by adding analytics or advertising, we will update this page before the change and mark the date.
