The help line
The Government of New Brunswick says: "If you or someone you know is experiencing a gambling problem, help and services are offered by the Department of Health. Call 1-800-461-1234 for free, confidential information." The casino's operator refers to the same number as the Gambling Information Line.

The information centre at the casino
The province funds a Responsible Gaming Information Centre at Casino New Brunswick through the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation, staffed in partnership with Lifeworks. It is open to casino patrons, staff, the public and professionals. It provides information on how gambling works, including odds, randomness and myths; how to keep gambling low-risk; the signs of problem gambling and the treatment services available; and the casino's Voluntary Self-Exclusion program. The centre is just outside the casino, in the pedway that leads toward the concert venue.
Taking a break
The operator runs a Voluntary Self-Exclusion program, which it describes as allowing people to ban themselves from casinos for specific periods. Ask at the information centre or call the help line to start. The operator's loyalty rules state that a player who self-excludes has their membership suspended immediately.
Signs worth taking seriously
The province's responsible gaming pages talk about clarifying common myths, recognising warning signs and knowing where to get help. If gambling is taking money you need for other things, if you chase losses, hide how much you spend, or feel anxious when you are not gambling, those are good reasons to call. So is worrying about someone else.
Under 19
New Brunswick's regulation is direct: "A person under the age of 19 years shall not enter a casino or play a game of chance in a casino." The operator scans ID and asks guests who appear under 30 for valid government photo ID. A parent who is gambling is not considered to be supervising a child anywhere in the complex.
Where this site stands
We do not promote gambling, publish offers, or earn anything from the casino. Our income comes only from hotel booking commissions, as explained on how we get paid. Our casino page lists only facts a hotel guest needs: who may enter, the hours, and where to find help.
