Arriving: parking, ID and the check-in desk

Ten minutes of reading here saves you twenty at the front desk. These are the arrival rules the operator publishes.

Parking

Parking is complimentary and included in your room rate, the hotel says. The hotel page also carries a notice: guests parking on site must give their vehicle's make, model and licence plate number at check-in. Have that ready, especially if you are driving a rental car you do not know well. The concert hall's FAQ adds that there is "ample parking on site… and it's free".

The house rules are strict here: a primary guest who does not meet these conditions can have the reservation cancelled without refund and be charged a one-night cancellation penalty. If someone younger is driving the family, make sure an adult of 19 or older is the named guest.

Early arrival, late departure

Need to check in before 4 or leave after 11? Contact the front desk. The rules say the hotel makes every effort but cannot guarantee it, and an extra charge may apply. On a Saturday of a big show, assume early check-in is unlikely.

Cancelling

To avoid a penalty, cancel 24 hours before arrival, or no later than 4 p.m. the day before you arrive. Prepaid reservations are not refundable, in whole or in part. The group's general rule sets the penalty at one night's room fee and tax.

Arrival kit

  • Photo ID for the adult checking in
  • A credit card for the pre-authorization, or cash or debit with a deposit
  • Your car's make, model and plate number on a note
  • Your confirmation email
  • Pet records if you are bringing a dog or cat

During your stay

The hotel honours a Do-Not-Disturb sign for up to 24 consecutive hours; after that, management may enter the room. Lost property is held for a maximum of 30 days and then donated, so check under the beds before you leave. The hotel and every room are 100% smoke-free, including cannabis and vaping.
