The operator calls this room "far from your traditional guestroom", and in one way the description holds up: 440 square feet is generous for a standard room. Two people can unpack fully, leave a suitcase open on the floor and still walk around the bed.
Who it suits
Couples, solo travellers in town for a concert, and parents travelling with one small child who sleeps in a travel cot. Ask for the cot in your request; the operator does not describe its crib policy, so we confirm it with the hotel before you arrive.
It suits less well if you are a family of three with an older child. There is no sofa bed listed for this category, and occupancy rules in the group's house rules are strict: exceeding the permitted occupancy of a room "is not allowed and may result in eviction, without refund". For three people who all need a bed, choose the Two Queen room or a suite.
Small things that help
Bring or ask for
- A small extension cord if you charge several phones at the desk
- Earplugs if you are a light sleeper on a concert night
- A note in your request if you would like a higher floor or a particular view
- Breakfast supplies: the Keurig makes coffee and tea, and there is no room service
Check-in starts at 4 p.m. and check-out is by 11 a.m. If you arrive early from a long drive, the front desk handles modified times when it can, and the house rules say an extra charge may apply. We can pass on an early check-in request, but only the hotel can grant it on the day.
